Our Favorite Books

These are books recommended by some of our members at a recent member meeting. I’ve included links to the books I could find at our library, so put them on your hold lists! Thanks for bringing your favorite books to share with us.

Now, here’s a little warning or perhaps a gentle reminder. I recently read this quote from Women Living Well by Courtney Joseph,

“The Word of God is full of living water. We need to drink deeply from this living well so we can be women living well. Jesus said to the woman at the well in John 4:13-14 ‘Everyone who drinks of this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks of the water I will give him will never be thirsty again. The water that I will give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life.’ The Bible is revolutionary, life changing, extraordinary, eye-opening, jaw-dropping, and downright amazing.”

Ladies, please don’t make the mistake of thinking books have all the answers. The Lord does. His Word does. Read your Bibles. Love your husbands and children. Live the Titus 2 life. Be a Proverbs 31 woman. Live like a child of the One True God. Feel free to read these great books listed below, but make sure you don’t do ONLY that. Put the Lord first in all you do. Drink from the living well. Live well. Love well. ~ Lisa
